MobiMicrobe® High-throughput Single Cell RNA-Seq Kit is suitable for microbial species such as Klebsiella pneumoniae, Staphylococcus aureus, etc., and is adapted to MobiNova®-100 Single Cell System. It contains bacteria pretreatment reagents, permeability reagent, reverse transcription reagent, microfluidic chip, beads with barcodes, pre-amplification reagent and library amplification reagent, which can quickly complete mRNA capture and library construction of thousands of bacteria. Detection of gene expression at the cell level of individual microbial cells, in-depth understanding of the differences in function and expression between individuals of microorganisms can be achieved. It can reveal the functions, metabolic characteristics and adaptability of bacteria to the environment.

Proline mitigates ciprofloxacin‑induced evolution of antibiotic resistance in bacteria at environmental concentrations

The MobiMicrobe® High-throughput Single Cell RNA-Seq Kit was employed to successfully resolve the heterogeneity of resistant subpopulations within an Escherichia coli population under environmental concentrations of ciprofloxacin stress. The single‑cell resolution data revealed the mechanistic basis by which proline slows the evolution of antibiotic resistance.
